Everyone has different point of views. How you may see a situation doesnt mean another person see's it the same like you.
As I have no idea where the heck I am after an event, I would just take a cab back home or office. & I absolutely hate paying for peak surcharge. its like paying for midnight surcharge with the evening sun shining and busses driving alongside your cab. I would only pay surcharge IF its midnight and a cab is my only form of transport home.
So after 5pm, the surcharge will be on and if i am not wrong, the ERP too. i boarded the cab somewhere at tiong bahru and it was 4.50pm.
10 mins to get home without being cheated in the daylight.
4.58pm I was on the expressway and spotted an ERP ahead. the cab driver suddenly slowed down thinking he could slowly get there and charge me more for ERP....? "uncle, can go faster" no sound from him as he sped up (like so bo pian lor attitude) YES!!! BEAT THE TWO ERPS!! was my typical singaporean mind. but my trip home was still about 20 dollars!!!!! daylight robbery!!!
