its christmas time!
12 days of christmas!
24th dec
half day at the workplace (yay! new years eve too!)
a few gifts received but not exchanged.
clocked striked one and it was off to the crescent for some rest before 8.30pm mass.
stood for 1 & 1/2 hour in mass and my legs ached like hell.
stood in the baby sound proof room where i could totally smell baby fart + powder milk = puke
the kids were just so annoying.
screaming n making nonsensical noise.
then, it was back to my house for midnight supper with family and relatives (dad's side).
caught up in 'teenage' chatter with a p5 cousin of mine.
surprisingly, the topics with a younger girl like 9 years apart arent as bad!
believe it or not, we talked abt Friendster (doh), BLOGGER, ij school, CONTACT LENSES, etc.
yea, she has friendster, she showed me her blog (when she asked me if i had one, I obviously said "no" FOR PRIVACY REASONS hahaha), she's from ij b. timah.. and SHE HAS BEEN WEARING LENSES SINCE PRI THREEEEE!!!!!!
OMG!
she even has coloured lenses.
YES.

bright and early in the afternoon (hahhh), mum n dad took turns to use the osim uzap which i bought for them.
n after my dad showered n changed he came outside n was like "i lost weight after using it! look! my pants.. too big!" n shows us the free space of his pants.
mum n i totally went wth cause where got instant results la!
off to my cousin's houses (mum's side)
nothing eventful at all... except now we all know there's a KID.

met up with erin n eugene at tcc at clarke q.
later, we watched the new ride - extreme swing!
OMGGGGGGG, its freaking scary n good at the same time la!

so we realised it was open, so decided to take a look at how the ride goes n everything..
shocker one: that the ball/capsule (where you sit that thing) will take you you freaking high like seven stories high ( we think?).. like slowly move you up n up n up while you face down
then it takes off n flies you...
shocker two: ALL THE WAY ABOVE THE FREAKING SINGAPORE WATERS
shocker three: nothing for you to hold
shocker four: the ladies who wore skirts did not fly open.
when we found out that this lady was wearing a dress on the ride, pervy us purposely stood at the spot where the capsule would fly directly above us. haha.
I wanna upload the video but my voice sounds damn weird la. so, no.
anyway, when the ball took off, you could hear us too like..

off to bukit timah for natalie's 20th bday bash.
bbq

natalie's bday.
went over for dinner.
& when it came to cutting the bday cake right, it got ruth & I really confused.
the scenario:
they had an aunt (i think her name is slyvia) over the hp loudspeaker.
so they started to sing the bday song...
"happy birthday to you (x2).. happy birthday to.... SYLVIA, happy birthday to you!"
huh?!?!
ruth n i just looked at each other.
okayyy, maybe its the aunts birthday too so possibly they sang for her first.
then, i heard the dad say "now natalie's turn!"
then she stood in front of the cake
& we thought okay, now her turn.
then, the parents were like "okay, cut the cake!"
huh?!?!
what happened to her birthday song?
this just cracked ruthie n I for a few minutes..
"so was the first bday song for her or not??"
"dont know whats happening! let's call natalie sylvia"
