I was reading a friend's blog and I had two realizations:
1.Christmas is coming ! (oh my!! so fast! n soon 2008!)
2. non-christians/catholics celebrate xmas in orchard road/clubs just like new years.
and I think I blogged about this before in my other blog but celebrating at orchard road/club/etc kinda spoils the true meaning of christmas.
like u go down to orchard n blow bubbles at strangers. That is so NOT christmas.
christmas is not only abt eating turkey n gimme-more-presents.
I guess the meaning of christmas is spoilt by media/advertisers/etc?
its like the mooncake festival. its not all abt eating mooncake rite?
as bestfriend told me there is like a folk tale behind it.
just like christmas.
but ours not folk tale la.
its when Christ is born.
and yes, what has christ got to do with blowing bubbles n spraying foam at bangla ppl?
its not some zouk out foam festival.
Well, if you are open minded, and if you want to know and FEEL the real xmas, step into any church. christian or
catholic church.
im not sure how Christians celebrate though - like Presbyterians or Methodists or etc
NOT asking you to pray or anything.
maybe just see.
observe.
know.
open to NEW experiences and knowledge.....?

dont worry, I wont stalk you after mass n force you to join my parish.

midnight masses are the best.
its really a oh-my-its-Christmas! feeling.

its just indescribable.
it sure beats the other times when sometimes you feel the dread for mass.
well, just a suggestion if you dont want an orchard road xmas or a boring one!
anyway, now singers are remaking christmas songs rite..dohh.

at one point of time she reminded me of my friend when she is ''breaking up'' on the hp.

part of work on thursday was when I and a colleague had to go to a certain twins home.
ex mtv vjs.
they also acted in that latest local movie also. some (fruit) sisters. lol.
they made us a 3 course lunch too. haha.
all part of exposure.. as i have "a lot to learn"
yes, i m reminded of that CONSTANTLY everyday.
anyway, for the bottom part of my previous entry rite,
it shows that some guys can be really omg-let-me-roll-my-eyes.
